Robert Quinn Ltd. successfully managed the construction of the new Micro Laboratory Building at MSD’s facility in Carlow. The project entailed a 3-storey extension to the existing production building on the eastern side. Our team were responsible for completing all internal finishes, including the precise interface finishes with the existing building. The ground floor was designed to house administration, office support areas, and electrical rooms, while the first floor featured laboratory space and additional office support. The second floor accommodated an HVAC plant room, further enhancing MSD’s operational capacity.

Robert Quinn Ltd. worked closely with PM Group to ensure the seamless integration of the new extension into the operational facility. Despite the site remaining fully operational throughout construction, we effectively coordinated the works to minimise disruption. The team adhered to the stringent safety requirements set by MSD, ensuring that all internal finishes and interfaces with the existing building were executed to the highest standards.
